Writing
Write here, or bring in what you have.
Bring in a Word document, Markdown or plain text; chapters, the prologue and epilogue, italics and scene breaks come with it.
Write chapter by chapter, saved as you go, with the bible open beside the page.
Add books and chapters in order, and a prologue or epilogue that sits outside the numbering.
Break a chapter into scenes as you write.
Type @ to link a name in your text to its character, place or object.
The scene panel
See who is present, where and when, and the facts about any name you point at, as they stand at this chapter.
Keep a version of a chapter, and go back to an earlier one.
Focus mode
Leave only the page: Ctrl + . (⌘ . on a Mac) or Esc to come back.
A spell check that knows your invented names, places and words.
Find another word, and see repeats, long sentences and adverbs at a glance.
Coming soon
Rename everywhere
Change a name once and it changes through the whole series.
Coming soon
Name generator
Names that fit your world, for the character you have not named yet.

Planning
The writing desk: everything before and around the page.
Plan the shape of a book, act by act and chapter by chapter.
Every loose idea in one place, filtered by book.
A calendar for deadlines and sessions, with goals and the words you wrote each day.
Pin your own pictures and studio portraits to boards for a book, a character or a place.
Lay out a book as a film strip of cards, by chapter or by scene.
The series bible
Everything that is true in your world, each fact citing its page.
Characters, places, objects, events, houses, factions and lore, each with its own page.
Every fact says where it was established: book, chapter and paragraph, one click from the passage.
Nothing is true until you seal it; drafts and AI suggestions wait for you.
Two entries that are one person or place become one, facts and citations together.
Every change to your canon can be undone.
Who knows what
See who knows, suspects or wrongly believes each secret, chapter by chapter, and when the reader finds out.
Houses and family trees
Houses and factions with their members, and family trees drawn from your canon.
Find anything in the bible and manuscript at once: Ctrl K (⌘ K on a Mac).
Reading with AI
The AI reads and suggests. It never writes your canon.
The AI reads a chapter and suggests the characters, places and facts it finds, each pointing to its paragraph.
A first read of every chapter, to fill the bible from a book you have already written.
Read the passages that name one character or place, and get suggestions for what the bible is missing.
Every suggestion waits here: approve it, reject it, or merge it into an entry you have.
Choose which books the AI may read, or switch it off entirely. Your work is not used to train models.
Continuity
Catch the mistake before a reader does.
Read a chapter against what you sealed, and see in words where they disagree.
Conflicts with both passages
Each conflict shows the canon fact beside the passage; fix the manuscript, update the canon, or mark it intentional.
Turn the dial and the whole studio shows what was true then. Later facts hide, never vanish.
Places and the map
A world you can see, drawn from what you wrote.
World, realm and city maps with political, terrain, travel and magic layers.
Place every realm and town where the book says they are.
Find a place
Type a name above the map and the map that shows it opens, with it chosen.
Make a place a realm, or move it inside another: rooms in buildings, towns in realms.
Write the history, customs and magic of a realm or world on its own page.
Timeline and threads
Four ways to see the same canon.
One timeline that changes scale from ages and years to books, chapters and scenes.
Plot threads
Every thread across every book: set up, paid off, or still dangling.
Story arcs
Follow each character’s arc from book to book, and the pulse of the story chapter by chapter.
The story graph
See who is tied to whom: family, allies, rivals and more.
Pictures
Your cast, painted from the facts you sealed.
Portraits, places and outfits painted from canon facts you can see, and nothing else.
Write what to change beside the picture, and the new version arrives as a suggestion to compare.
Compare versions side by side and lock the one that is true.
Upload art you already have, ready to compare and lock like any other.
The wardrobe
Outfits for each character, with the chapter each is first worn, approved like any other fact.
Sharing and export
Your words stay yours: show them, or take them with you.
A private link to the whole book, one chapter or a range, with an optional password; switch it off any time.
Let readers of a shared book see its characters and places, only as far as they have read.
Export the bible
As Markdown, JSON, Word or PDF, as of any chapter.
Export the manuscript
As Markdown, Word, EPUB or PDF, whenever you like.

Make it yours, and get help when you need it.
Accent and theme
A colour for each series, and a dark or light studio.
Explore The Hollowmere Cycle, a finished series that is yours to change.
See your credits, top up any time, and see what a button uses before you press it.
