Share your book for people to read

Make a link to the whole book, one chapter or a few chapters. Anyone with it can read it like a book, with no account.

Open any chapter of the book and click Share above the text.
If the book has no front cover yet, click Make a cover (or Finish the cover) and lock one as canon in the Visual Studio. Readers open the book on its cover.
Under What to share, choose Whole book, One chapter or Chapters. For one chapter, pick it; for chapters, pick the first and the last.
To keep it to people you choose, type a password of 8 characters or more. Leave it empty for anyone with the link.
Click Create link, then Copy link and send it to your readers.

Good to know

The link reads your book as it is now: change a chapter and readers see the change. Only chapters with writing in them are shown.
Readers can open Characters and places to see who and what they have met, as far as the chapters you shared. Nothing from later chapters, no secrets until they are revealed, and none of your drafts or notes.
Sharing is free on every plan. Shared books are kept out of search engines.
To stop a link, click Switch off next to it in Share, or in Settings › Shared links, where all your links are listed. It stops at once.
