Link a name in your text to an entry
Type @ in the manuscript to link a name to a character, place or other entry in your bible.
- In the chapter, type @ followed by the start of the name.
- Use the up and down arrows to choose the entry in the menu.
- Press Enter to link it.
- If the entry does not exist yet, type at least two letters of the name, use the arrows to choose Create “…” as a draft character (or place, or object), then press Enter to make it and link it.
Good to know
- Linking works while you write on a computer or tablet. Press Esc to keep what you typed as plain text.
- Characters you link in a scene are listed as Present on that scene’s card.
- New entries made this way are drafts until you seal them as canon.
