Use your own picture

Upload your own art for a character or place; it uses no credits.

  1. Open Visual Studio for the character or place. Until a place has a picture, its page says Add a picture (or Paint this place) instead.
  2. Click Use your own picture (for a book cover, Use your own cover).
  3. Choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP of up to 4 MB.
  4. It appears under Results, marked Your picture. It is yours, not an AI suggestion, so there is nothing to approve.
  5. To lock it as canon when you are sure, click Compare on its card, then Lock as canon.
