Look at your style

Highlights words repeated nearby, overused words, long sentences, the passive, filter words and adverbs on dialogue tags.

  1. Open a chapter and click Style in the bar above the text. It shows a tick and stays pressed while it is on.
  2. Each kind gets its own underline; the Style panel under the bar names them and counts them.
  3. Open a kind in the panel and click Go to to jump to one, or Ignore to stop showing that word.
  4. Click Style again to turn it off. Your choice is saved with your account.

Good to know

  • These are suggestions only: nothing in your text changes unless you change it.
  • Names in your bible are never counted as repeated words.
  • Ignore lasts until you open the chapter again.
